System

This chapter contains general system information on the evoVIU camera.

Introduction

In the System area, you can read out all the information about your hardware. Furthermore, you can define the behavior of your camera when rebooting, but also perform basic actions such as rebooting or switching off the camera.

System Information

All the properties of your system are listed under this item. These include

• Camera

• Docker variant

• Focus

• lens

• Built-in light

• Wireless connection

• Sensor code

• Display

All this information can also be used as bookmarks.

Auto Restart

Use Auto Restart

Select this option if you want to activate Auto Restart. Your system will then restart automatically - after software updates, for example - and restore the last active process.

Reconnection Attempts

Here you can set how often your camera should attempt to restore the last active process after a reboot.

System Actions

Ping Hostname

If you want to check whether certain addresses are currently available, you can simply use the ping function to find out. The result will be displayed within a few seconds.

Power Off

Use this button to switch the camera off.

If you shut down the camera with Power Off, you must briefly disconnect the camera from the power supply to restart it. Make sure that the camera is in an area where you can do this without any problems.

Reboot

Use this button to reboot your camera.

The camera is accessible again after approx. 60 seconds.

Packages

You can also switch to the package list via the tab view. The collapsible areas display an overview of all used packages, including their version number, author, and license.
