My Workflow
Introduction
In the My Workflow tab, you can configure and manage specific workflow components. From custom variables for later results monitoring and components such as image source settings to custom functions, structures, or formulas—this area allows for a wide range of individual, tailored settings to suit your specific use case.
The My Workflow tab is divided into various sections that can be expanded and collapsed. Entries can be added using the plus button. Existing entries can be renamed, moved, duplicated, or deleted. The following section explains the uses of each section in more detail.
Sections
Section | Use Case |

Variables allow you to temporarily store values and use them for further processing. This enables both the output of values after processing steps and the setting of different values at runtime depending on selected parameters. | |
Components allow you, for example, to access information about your system, establish connections to other services, and also set image capture settings. | |
Functions allow you to configure subgraphs and reusable flows to minimize configuration effort. Furthermore, functions improve performance in large, complex workflows. | |
Create enumerations with any number of members and integrate them into the workflow by setting the enum as a variable data type. | |
Structures are data types that result from combining several primitive data types. They can be freely configured and bundle the information relevant to you. It is also possible to use one struct as part of another struct. | |
Annotations are shapes that you draw on an area of an image so that it can be used in further processing. Annotations are often also referred to as regions of interest. | |
Formulas ensure the reusability of complex calculations. Additionally, the number of required nodes is significantly reduced. |
