User Management
In this chapter, you will learn how token management works on your camera. You can use User Management to create users and grant them temporary access to your camera.
Verification as admin
If you click on the User Management menu item, a login dialog box opens. Enter either the master login data or the data you received from your administrator.

Overview
There are two main points under Session Management: Session Tokens and Token Handling. The administrator can change and manage active sessions here.

Session Tokens
Creating a session token
If you would like to create a session token, you can do this on the Session Tokens page. There are currently two options for creating session tokens.
Via the Add Session Token button in the left-hand navigation bar
Via the + button in the bottom right-hand corner of the Session Tokens page

In both cases, the same dialog for creating a session token is displayed. Simply enter a name for your token, but pay attention to the requirements such as the minimum and maximum length of the token.

As soon as you have confirmed this dialog, another dialog will appear. It is important that you make a note of the secret here, as you will need it for verification and will not be able to view it again at a later date.

Managing a session token

You can select a session token in the left-hand navigation bar. All information relevant to the token is then displayed.
General
General information such as the label and the validity period are displayed first.

Label
Here you can give your token an individual label so that it is easier to read and identify.
Created
Here you will find the date on which the token was created.
Active until
The tokens can be set as only temporarily usable. If this is the case, you can read under this point until when the token is active.
Grants
Here you can set which rights the token user should have. You can switch the respective roles on or off.

Viewer
The viewer can see all configurations, but cannot make any settings.
Editor
The Editor can manage all configurations and has the right to view and edit everything.
Admin
The Admin can manage all active sessions, change configurations and carry out updates.
Manage
Here you can make settings for the respective tokens.

Update secret
The user can make changes to the secret token under Update secret. Ideally, the user changes the password immediately after receiving it.
Remove token
The created token can be irrevocably deleted here.
Removing a session token
If you want to remove a token, you can do this using the Remove button. To do this, you must confirm again in the dialog that you want to irrevocably delete the token.

After you have confirmed the action, the initial view is displayed again, prompting you to select a session token.
Token handling
Here you can set how the tokens are to be used or whether you want to use them in general.

Use permanent tokens
If you activate this feature, your evoVIU interface requires permanent session tokens. This means that the edit status can only be achieved with a working token.
Require permanent token for active status
If you activate this feature, the evoVIU user must log in with a permanent token in order to be able to act as an active editor.
Require permanent token for login
If you activate this feature, the evoVIU user must log in with a permanent token in order to be able to act as a viewer.
Master session token
Here you will find the ID of your master user. This ID cannot be deleted.
